They call one Africa, the other Europe,
For many, its worlds apart
And yet our history and past makes us
Just two sides of the same coin
For a season, Europeans migrated in numbers from Europe to
Africa,
They sort to discover, live and engage – they called it
colonisation,
The drivers were the need for resources and opportunities
Now many Africans are moving in their numbers to Europe,
They seek to discover, live and engage
Their drivers too are the need for resources and
opportunities
You see, in as much as we are different, we are the same
We are two coins of the same coin
Since our paths keep crossing,
Our problems affect each other,
Isnt it time that we worked together,
And like two sides of the same coin,
Compliment each other’s existence
